Who is the woman who appears in the Katy Perry's "Swish Swish"?

Hi everyone. I've decided to write this post because when I had seen this video, I had no idea who she was until my Brazilian friend told me she was Gretchen. She is famous in Brazil.

My objective in this post is to tell you briefly who she is and I'll show you the best parts I've enjoyed in this video.

About Gretchen:

I have searched some information on Wikipedia. It told me that her name is María Odete Brito Miranda.

She was born in Río de Janeiro in 1958 and she's a singer, actress and dancer too much popular in Brazil. People call her Gretchen because it's her artistic nickname.

Why did she appear in Katy Perry's video? I haven't search information about this, but I guess it's obvious, everyone knows that Katy Perry loves Brazilians people.

My favourite parts of the clip:

These four scenes, which I call "funny", were too funny and that's why, they are parts of my favourite scenes jaja. Gretchen has a way to be that in whom her gestures and her own way to act make her very funny.

I would like to stress the picture where she seems like she wanna give a kiss, but I don't know why she put her hands in that way JAJAJAJA and the last photo where she seems that she wants to make a gesture of "I can't hear you" or something like that JAJAJA.

These pics are really good to make memes jajaja.

Well... I have named "The Gretchen' sensual scenes" to these two ones. However, they don't have anything of sensual or sexy JAJAJAJA... She is only really good with funny things. Anyway, people can do memes of these scenes as well! JAJAJAJA (Okay, you can do memes with all her scenes).

Finally, the "ball scene" well... The stage is a basketball court. I understand it. But, why was she doing that? I don't know if she tried to be a sensual woman again or if she wanted to kiss the ball... I don't know... If someone could explain me that, I will be grateful jajaja.

I think the best scene of these three groups of scenes I have bring them together is the first group. I think this woman is talented and professional with the things she does and I really liked that she has appeared in KP's video because she is humorous. What do you think about this?
